Diabolo brief history
Originally from China, the game was all the rage in Paris in 1812. It was at the Tuileries ans in the salons. Originally it was made from wood, but somewhere around 1900, Gustave Philippart produced a metal version under the name diabolo. Manufactured in plastic since the 1950s, this game of skill consists of spinning a double cone, thrwing it into the air and catchong it on a string string stretched between two stick.
